Small Plate Stations Make-up a Hearty and Healthy Buffet

Sometimes it is more fun to have a few tastes then a single large buffet. This woman’s birthday party took place in a stunning pent house in the 1010 Midtown building; we wanted our food selections to be as chic and airy as the building itself.

Different textures in the furniture helped to highlight the amazing windows in this penthouse!

Guests were invited to enjoy the hostess’s favorite cocktails at a “GIN ‘n JUICE” BAR; there they were served “The Double D” – Chilled White Wine and “The Down ‘n Dirty” Gin Martini.

Station #1: Salmon, Two Ways serving smoked salmon tartar presented in a potato chip bowl & seared salmon on sauteed bok choy

Salmon Fillets

Station #2: A standing Mirror Holding “Stuck-On” Individual Seared Tuna Sashimi Salads

We also used standing shelves to supplement the mirror

Station #3: Chicken the View! Serving chicken lettuce cups with cilantro yogurt and seared chicken pot stickers with Ponzu sauce

A room with a view and stations with substance!

Crazy For Carly's Concoctions!

For this Bat Mitzvah we wanted our food and set-up to create the same sense of crazy fun energy the Bat Mitzvah girl exudes. The fair needed to be kid and adult friendly and maintain the funky fresh feeling of the entire event. Hosted at the newly renovated Buckhead Theater and in conjunction with Event Design Group, we wanted to utilize the theater’s old world meets new world feel.

The kid’s buffets and beverages were right next to the dance floor, so the kid’s did not have to stop dancing all night!

The adults started the evening with a fabulous sushi station and gourmet “comfort food” appetizers.

Corned Beef and Turkey Pastrami Roll

Sophisto Joes paired with a Beer Shot

While adults enjoy appetizers upstairs the kid’s enjoyed our cool and colorful chip bar, with numerous types of homemade chips and tons of great sauces!

Adults enjoyed a chef attended diner-style station called, “Carly’s Counter.” The chefs prepared boutique burgers for guests, like a restaurant counter.

Freshly grilled on site

Tenderloin Steak Sandwiches

Miso Salmon Burgers

Curly potato fries served on a stick!

Kid’s and adults alike enjoyed this wall of pick-up chopped salads served in martini glasses and cabbage salad in adorable mason jars.

Among many other desserts, we served tasty, yet not too messy, chocolate gram cracker smores, torched live in front of guests.

Bright lights, bright colors, to facilitate bright smiles!
